Course Completion Certificate Request Form

Carefully read the following information before submitting your request:

** If you completed all blocks of the latest version of any of NWC's 4 online PME courses (course IDs end in V5 for Intro and Basic; course IDs end in V6 for Primary Officer and Enlisted), your NWC course completion certificate has been generated automatically within NeL. You can access your NWC certificate anytime by clicking on the certificate for the final block of the course you completed. Check your final block completion certificate to see if it looks like the example below:

If your Block 7 or Block 8 certificate looks like the example above, DO NOT COMPLETE THIS REQUEST FORM. Otherwise, read and follow the instructions below.

*Note: A prior version of the final block of all 4 NWC courses is available to legacy learners who desire an NWC certificate but do not want to complete the latest version of the course. To obtain a NWC certificate within NeL you must ensure that the course ID of the final block ends in V5 (Intro and Basic) or V6 (PPME Officer and Enlisted).

For those who completed earlier versions of the Intro, Basic, and either Primary course and do not desire to have their NWC certificate awarded within NeL as explained above, please follow the instructions below:

If you have not  completed all the course blocks, you should be able to enroll in and complete:

Primary Enlisted: NWC-PPME-SENL-B7-V5.1
Primary Officer: NWC-PPME-JO-B7-V5.1

You must complete
all 7 or 8 blocks of a course before requesting a certificate. If you cannot see all 7 or 8 of the blocks of a course or experience a technical problem, contact the Navy eLearning Help Desk at:

Registration Information
Why do we need the last four digits of your Social Security Number? We request your Social Security number (SSN), full name, email address, and the name of the course you completed only to authenticate who you are and that you completed the course for which you are requesting a completion certificate. The information you provide is compared with your information in the FLTMPS Database. The information is used solely to verify that you are authorized to receive a NWC PME Course Completion Certificate. This data is already in the FLTMPS database and the Naval War College is authorized to use the data for verification purposes. Your SSN will not be shared with any other agency or organization, and it is used only as a discriminator during multiple identity instances.

Is it safe?
Security during registration is ensured using a 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection. This is the highest industry standard and establishes an encrypted session between your computer and NWC. We use the same technology other major companies operating on the World Wide Web (WWW) use to protect personal information and guard against identity theft. Look for the little yellow padlock at the bottom of your browser window to ensure you have established a secure connection.
