Transition of NWC's Course Completion Certificate Function to Navy eLearning

Effective 13APR18, Navy eLearning (NeL) has implemented a new process to create NWC course completion certificates for all past, present, and future learners. As part of this process, learners whose final block certificate showed NWC branding will see that it has been replaced with the standard NeL certificate. Next, learners who have successfully completed ALL blocks of a course (regardless of version) can expect that their NeL Training History will be updated to include an NWC-branded certificate as a standalone entry. An example of how a NWC certificate entry will appear in a learner's Training History is: NWC-PPME-SENL-CERT.

Certificate entries are as follows:

Primary Enlisted PME: NWC-PPME-SENL-CERT
Primary Officer PME: NWC-PPME-JO-CERT

NWC certificates are NOT created immediately upon course completion. Certificate creation is a separate process that occurs as part of a learner's Training History update and should complete within 24hrs of completing the last block of a course on the ashore LMS. The time needed to update training histories for courses completed afloat depends on how frequently the ship syncs with NeL ashore. The final completion transcript can only be accessed utilizing the ashore version of NeL.

Learners will be able view/print their NWC certificates from their NeL Training History as they would any other course certificate. Additionally, NWC certificate entries in NeL will be reflected in other training and personnel databases (i.e. FLTMPS, ETJ, NSIPS, etc.).

Going forward, technical issues related to NWC course completion certificates should be directed to the Navy311 Help Desk.

Your course completion certificate should look similar to the example below.
